Richard B. Cartmell Elementary School will host a grandparents' breakfast on Sept. 5. Grandparents must RSVP by Sept. 2 in order to eat a meal with their grandchild. The cost is $4 for breakfast.

Cartmell Elementary teacher Diane McCarthy was recognized by the Carroll County Board of Education last night for being named the Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts Teacher of the Year.

The Local Planning Committee will meet Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. regarding the District Facilities Plan. The meeting is open to the public.

🎶✨Hey Panther Families, Choir Club is back for the 2025–2026 school year! Students in grades 2nd-4th are invited to join us with Ms. Young to sing, learn teamwork and performance skills, and prepare for our big performances out of the school year. The Carroll County Food Pantry has set its fall schedule. Those needing help can receive food every eight weeks, unless an emergency is approved by the pantry. Commodities are available monthly. Carroll County residents can utilize both the food pantry and commodities.

🍅🌱FREE TOMATOES AND KALE at the Sellers' Garden Farmstand--located at Cartmell. Freshly harvested this evening! The farmstand is located at the library courtyard, next to Door 5, on the Hwy 42 side of the building. Help yourself, but please LEAVE THE BINS, so we can refill!

Join us at Panther Field from 6-8 p.m. for football, food, vendors and lots of opportunities to support our students!

Panther families, don't forget to send your student's 🪪identification badge🪪 to school with them each day! They are needed for the school bus🚌, cafeteria 🍕and library📚.
If they need a new badge, it's as simple as going to the office and getting it printed ✨immediately✨. This Panther had her new badge in a matter of minutes.

Badging on and off the bus is a vital way to keep students safe. They also use the badges in the cafeteria and library. We are looking forward to a great year!
