📣Carroll County Schools will utilize NTI Day 7 on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026.
Current forecasts are calling for 1–3 inches of snow, with locally higher amounts possible 🌨️. Snow is expected between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., which could create slick and hazardous road conditions impacting the safety of bus travel and student drivers 🚌🚗.

Due to the timing and expected accumulation, we believe utilizing an NTI Day is the safest decision for our students and staff. Our staff members will not report to the buildings, but they will be in contact with your child regarding the day’s expectations.

💡100 DAYS BRIGHTER---RESCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, FEB 3!

Due to last week's NTI and Snow Days, we will observe our 100th Day of School THIS TUESDAY, FEB 3!

Our theme is "100 Days Brighter!" so students may celebrate by wearing any bright colored clothing and/or sunglasses. 😎 They may also choose to decorate a shirt with 100 objects or dress as a 100-year-old. No special trips to the store required---just grab what you have on hand!

📣❄️Many of our county roads are still unsafe for school buses and parking lot conditions on our campuses are potentially hazardous as well. Therefore, Carroll County Schools will use an NTI Day tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 29.
📚Staff members will not report to school buildings, but they will be in contact with your student to share expectations for the day.

Hello Cartmell families! We hope you and your family are staying warm and safe. Are you looking for more academic engagement during these NTI days? Did you know you can work on your iReady path from home? Visit CCSLinks and click the "Cartmell" tab, just like when you are at school. You'll need to use your student email (firstname.lastname@stu.carroll.kyschools.us) and your school-issued password in order to log in. Parents, please note: iReady student MyPaths should be completed independently. This adaptive program provides instruction at your child's current instructional level. If you provide too much support, the program will think your child has mastered the skill before they are ready. While you can provide some instruction with DIFFERENT types of problems, make sure you let your child solve the problems provided on MyPath independently. For example, if your child is given the problem "386+149", you could give them a practice problem "274+502." Then, you can have them do the original problem on their own in the MyPath program.

The Carroll County Board of Education has cancelled its meetings with School-Based Decision Making Councils due to the winter weather. The rescheduled dates will be announced as soon as possible.
