❄️☃️OH, THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS FRIGHTFUL, BUT RECESS IS SO DELIGHTFUL! A few Cartmell students delighted in making mini-snowmen during recess time this week. #ccpanthers

Cartmell Elementary’s STLP (Student Technology Leadership Program) groups continue to shine! ✨💻

🌿 The Greenery Protection Club, focusing on conservation efforts , scored 39/40 points! 🍃👏

🍽️ The Hunger Helpers , working to meet community hunger and related needs , scored 38/40 points! 🥫💪

Both teams received compliments on their thorough, creative, and professional presentations. 🎤🎨 They competed virtually in the regional competition in November.

We’re proud to say both teams are on track to head to the STLP State Competition at Rupp Arena in April! 🎉🏆🐾

🎭ACT 1: SCENE 1 Cartmell 3rd graders are wrapping up their current ELA Module by reading plays that they have been studying. Every student has had the opportunity to read a part in each of the three plays from the module.

👏🏻MATH GAMES--Students in Mrs. Ball's 4th grade math class put their knowledge of equivalent fractions into play with a game of Scoot! #ccpanthers

IF YOUR STUDENT IS A MEMBER OF CARTMELL'S "GOOD NEWS" CLUB--Please note that the club will meet NEXT TUESDAY, DEC 9 for a makeup meeting (due to this past Tuesday's snow day). This will be the only meeting in December for the club, and regular Tuesday meetings will resume after winter break.

❄️📅Panther families, please see this updated 2025-2026 school calendar. School will be in session on Friday, Feb. 13 to make up yesterday's snow day. The last day of school remains the same. 📅❄️

You are invited to take part in an important conversation about the future of Carroll County. The Northern Kentucky Area Development District (NKADD) will host a series of community forums throughout their eight-county region designed to gather input from local leaders and citizens on key priorities, challenges, and opportunities related to economic and community development.
The Carroll County forum will be on Thursday, Dec. 11 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the JCTC Carrollton Campus. It is held in collaboration with the Carroll County Community Development Corporation. It is free, but organizers request you register in advance.
What to Expect:
Collaborative discussions on local economic and community development
Opportunities to share your vision, concerns, and ideas
Updates on ongoing initiatives and potential future strategies
Networking with peers and stakeholders from across the region
